Claire Towell: I am a Marketing major in the Rutgers Business School and I am specifically interested in thought leaders because they play a huge role in digital marketing. In the world of marketing it is important to learn how to become a thought leader and also to network with thought leaders so that you can leverage their influence to share your products with their followers.

Maggie Lu: I am a Communication major, specifically interested in the field of marketing and promotions. When it comes to thought leadership, innovation is key. Marketing your brand and being creative to make yourself stand out in the digital world will set you apart from other competitors and leaders in an online setting.

Elorm Ocansey: I am a Communication and Cinema Studies major, who’s especially interested in integrated media marketing and public relations. In terms of thought leadership, personal branding and reputation management is essential. In the digital era, integrated media marketing works as a platform to establish one’ trustworthy identity, and furthermore, transmit leadership presence.

Jerald See: I am an Engineering major, who’s also interested in Information Technology and Informatics. I think thought leadership is a very integral aspect to learn in today emerging media market. Having an understanding of media will help with building social networks and contacts that are useful in every environment including digital, physical, professional, and personal.

Noa Halff:

I am a journalism major with a strong interest in digital media, especially in the workplace. The increased use of digital media is changing people’s everyday lives. I see the importance and impact of digital media everyday while interning in the digital department at WNBC. It is important to understand the opportunities and risks presented in the Digital Era in order to benefit both personally an professionally.
